Besides providing outstanding service and innovative solutions to our clients that maximize their investment that allows them to get results, we make marketing fun. Half of us is a marketing and communications advertising agency. Half of us is a web, technology and software development firm. And we overlap each other. You cannot take the ad agency (consumer experience and engagement) out of us and you cannot take the tech knowledge (online tools and digital resources) away.

So you get this really neat blend of both - a creative agency and tech company that seamlessly puts it all together in one place for our clients to get results. Our roots take us all over central Illinois but our experience takes us all over the world. We develop strategic plans incorporating both traditional media and digital solutions to bring strong and measured results to our campaigns.

AdCo began in January of 1997 as a media buying agency at a time when the concept was new and only in large media markets.
Julie Russell, founder and president of AdCo, had worked with a few niche agencies such as these during her 10 year career in radio sales and saw the possibility of adapting that type of system to the Peoria market.
Armed with a new laptop computer, a subscription to the Arbitron and Nielsen Ratings and her 4 month old daughter, Julie "retired" from radio sales and immediately began representing two area agencies' media buying services.

We do a lot of listening and strategic thinking for clients.
Thinking isn't planning, that comes later.
After we have spent time with you, get to know your direction and understand your needs, then we begin solution thinking.
We research, look at competitors, search for market gaps or underutilized openings in the marketplace.
Then begin to start developing paths to solutions, growth and awareness.
The best ideas come from understanding the issue or opportunity and maximizing that for the client.

We refer to these meetings as "mining sessions" where we dig deep into your world to discover what molds and shapes your business as well as what this project needs to achieve and how, working together, we can ensure its ultimate success.

Our agency is structured in a way to ensure projects move along swiftly, and utilize the varied skills of our in-house account managers, project managers, media planners and strategic developers, as well as our writers, designers, editors, copywriters, editors, coders, digital strategists and architects, web and software developers to achieve the best results possible.
The first thing we do after being assigned a project is schedule information-gathering meetings between our teams.
We are interested not only in scheduling, budget and job specifications, but also in your preferences, target audience, and objectives.
Our charges

Like most service organizations our invoices are based on the time and talent we invest in a project.
We always provide a detailed proposal and estimate for approval before starting.
We adhere to our estimates unless project specifications change.
When we embark on a large project, we ask for a deposit, that is typically 1/2 of the project with the balance due when work is completed or live.
